Rest and relaxation?

Thursday was easy but a bit painful. I was ordered to rest, and be waited on. That was easy. The leg hurt a bit. Then came the trip to Minneapolis. The yearly EF meeting which we usually look forward to. It's fun and informative and somehwere different each year. This year in Minneapolis. The Mall of America was all we knew. The trip went well, My leg hurt of course. Cindy had to handle the suitcase which was wierd. But we ended up walking a great deal in the airport and on our way to the Hotel. We got in and met with Cathy, our regional manager and had some dinner. Friday we spent the morning making signs and airplanes for our skit that never happened. I wrote a goofy poem and it was fun. Then Cindy and I ventured out exploring and shopping. We loved the downtown and then found our way to the MALL. A great light rail ride to the Mall and we found an enormous facility, four levels with a huge amusement park in the middle. It is gigantic, but still just a Mall. The evening event was fun, we were nominated for IEC's of the year agaain which made us proud. The staff did a great job entertaining. Saturday was workshops and we skipped the evening dinner and just went out shopping again. We went to a beutiful floral art show and then Momma found her Mother of the Bride dress. And not only was it the perfect dress, but the perfect price. 75 percent off!!!! Can't be much better than that. Sunday we finished the workshops and took the train instead of the shuttles and stopped at the mall one more time for a meal and then to the airport. Carrie and Bill picked us up and finally we were home. It was a great weekend!
